Hide's 100-word story for May 28, 2025

I’m running late. The rain drums aboveground as I dash through the station. Normally I hate being wet, but maybe it will cover up my sweat stains. “Glubbork!” Snork. I do not have time for this guy. If I’m late again I’ll get terminated. And not the fun kind, either. I hear wet feet slapping after me. “Glubbork! Slow down!” I don’t, but somehow he catches up. “Can you believe it? We’re late! We get to be terminated today!” “Crabbunk, it’s not that kind of termination.” “Oh…” I would’ve enjoyed the look on his face, if I wasn’t running late.
