“Happy National Bicycle day! Save a cowboy, ride a bicycle!” “Fuck off!” I exclaim, as the weird hippie cyclist pedals in lazy circles around Cole and me. “Hey, do you want a free bicycle?” “No.” “Wait, it’s free?” asks Cole. I shake my head but he ignores me. “Yeah man, here, get on!” “Cole, don’t!” Too late. Cole sits, and the man throws down his hat and stupid glasses and gleefully runs. “Sucker!” “Cole, remember I told you about that guy who rides that cursed bicycle that traps you unless you can find someone to take your place?” “Uh, no?”
