Another morning, another time of discovery. Okay, self check. Arms and legs intact and movable. Good. Fingers and toes wiggle like expectant piglets. Excellent. I hear rain, lots of rain, so the ears are doing their thing. I can feel the weak flutter of cool air from a vent somewhere. Let’s open the eyes. Hmmm…there’s neon out there, but who the hell knows what it says through the downpour. I’m on a bed, and I seem to be wearing a gown. So…hospital? What did I get up to last night? “Mr. Glemson, good morning. Time for your medicine.”
