The acid had really kicked in by the time the rain started falling. I think. Was it rain? The tears of ancient sky dragons, perhaps. Wheeling about far above, lamenting that we have forgotten them. Where the fuck is Connor? I thought, probably for the fiftieth time since we'd dropped. Sipping my coffee, realizing it now tasted like my granddad's workshop, notes of pipe tobacco and and fine cedar sawdust. I liked it, but I couldn't finish it. "Have you seen Connor?" I asked no one in particular, and no one in particular answered. It's okay. I'm okay. I think.
