Here I sit bob bob bob arms aching but free from everything everyone no voices no chatter no questions or judgments just the gentle lapping of the waves against the side of my craft nature's metronome knocking at my door how easy it would be to twist and plunge surrender to the depths exhale and sink until my feet touched bottom my lungs burned and my brain ignited launched me to the surface cough and gasping clutching to the boat with renewed purpose or I could sit instead breathe and let time pass unimpeded by my wishes or very existence
