Jackal's 100-word story for June 10, 2025
Jackal wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on June 10, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.
Snow was the first thing we saw when we woke up this morning. We drove up to mom and dad’s yesterday to get away. The city has been too crazy and we all needed a little break. None of us could have imagined that we would be blessed with such an amazing view this morning. The girls were so excited to throw on some old snow gear and run out. Madeline was the first out and she went straight to making a snowman. However, Adeline is my free spirit and is currently jumping into snow piles. I’m glad we came :)
