“Your eyes are getting sleepy,” said the old man. “He’s joking, right?” demanded Jimmy. Tom chuckled. “I dunno. Just play along and he’ll leave.” Jimmy stared at the watch. “Yeah, yeah, super sleepy old timer.” “You are under my control the moment I count to three. One.” “God, you’re pathetic,” Jimmy grumbled. “Two” “Hey, you want to get a beer?” said Tom “Three.” They walked into the bar. “Two pints,” said Jimmy to the bartender. He and Tom reached back for their wallets. They never found the old man, nor did they stop clucking like chickens when a bell rang.
