“Have I ever told you about my great nephew, Warren?” asked Mr. Down through his mouthful of oatmeal. Hazel smiled and wiped his chin. “I don’t believe you have.” “Brilliant boy, very promising. Then one day, I think he was five or so, he dressed up as a bunny for Halloween. Afterwards, he refused to take off the mask.” “So, how long did it take him?” “To what?” Hazel smiled patiently. “To take off the mask.” Mr. Down laughed. “He still wears it. And he’s a CEO now, so your Billy will be just fine in his cape. Don’t worry.”
