Jeremiah grabbed the landline. His hair brushed back with premium gel. "Mr. Allen, have you reconsidered my company's health insurance program?" Jeremiah's voice was low and reassuring. "You know, I'm on it too. Saved my daughter's life." There was no family picture. His gaze fixed on the rival firm's skyscraper across from his glass window. Jeremiah's instinct was that of a wolf, tensed, on his haunches, inching towards the innocent bunny. "For sure. I'm talking to you as dad to dad." Jeremiah chuckled, stroking his rabbit mask's whiskers. "Great, that'll be $899. Per month. No refunds." Jeremiah anticipated his promotion.
