“What are you doing?” “Trust me, I saw this on a special once. There’s like a festival somewhere where they dance in pigment and everybody has a great time.” He tears the end off the cyan container and waves it, sending the tiny particles to the crowd below. “Hand me that one.” A twist and yellow exploded, followed quickly by magenta. The crowd erupted in terpsicorean joy. “But you’re a copier tech, Kevin, and this is toner. You know what happens when you combine the three.” Kevin blushed as the dance floor, the dancers, everything below, became engulfed in black.
