“Look at him, far away from people, letting his problems melt away as he makes himself coffee over a tiny burner and thinks he’s in his own personal heaven. It almost makes you—“ “What are you doing?” asked a voice. Jim slammed the laptop shut and turned. “Mister Downey, I was just—“ “We were given strict instructions to leave the Director alone, and you’re spying on him with a drone? Stand down, man!” Jim flinched, nodded, and opened the laptop to give the recall command, realizing too late he had send an armed drone. “Um, Mister—I mean, Director Downey…”
