Couldn't get far enough. His inbox was more warnings on the nazis in the government than discount offers on places he'd shopped only once. He packed essentials, left everything else behind. Driving was better. Flying was better still. Walking into Bhutan was good. Couldn't stay there -- wasn't a farmer, only art he produced was bad guitar, the idea of a socially-mandated dress code made his eye twitch. The mountains were better. As he sat in the tent, horror dawned: he carried it all in his head. All the time. He shed items as he walked to the cliff edge. Everything.
