joeislove's 100-word story for June 24, 2025

I had one of these posable figures in art school. It was supposed to help learn proportions for figure drawing, so you don't end up drawing someone whose left arm is longer than their right, and both arms longer than their legs. AI is better at that anyway. I never used mine to sketch proportions and put my own drawing over it. I did include it in a couple of still life drawings, posed humping an apple or something. In those I meticulously rendered every detail so there was no mistaking it for what it was. I hated art school.
