There were days. Days that could last forever. Days where hearts could sore. Imaginations went wild. There were days. Gone are the days. Missed chances. Opportunities squandered. Now the days are unending. There is no joy. Just regret and blame. Where did it all go wrong? Was it the alcohol? The days on end with no sight of him, his family at home worried sick? No. It was truly his lack of compassion and remorse. He felt bad about that, but not really. What he felt bad about was that the party was over. His days of glory behind him.
