There are days when I cannot stand to look at myself gawping back from the mirror unfamiliar with the landscape of my face I look upon a stranger who doesn't recognize me and challenge him to hold my eye of course he looks away just as I do a mimic if I've ever seen one but sometimes when I'm not focusing concentration thrown to the winds I swear I see him look back out of the corner of my eye it's only for a second quick enough to miss he sticks out his tongue gives a soundless raspberry and laughs
