Jackal's 100-word story for June 27, 2025

Jackal wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on June 27, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

I wish I could travel through mirrors. Imagine walking through one mirror and exiting through another in a completely different place, maybe another city or even another country. There would be no need for cars or planes. I could travel anywhere without a second thought about money or travel times. The first question I would have is about traveling with others. Would I be able to bring others through the mirror as well? I guess that would depend on how my power worked. If the power is in the mirror, then I couldn’t see why others couldn’t come with me!
