I found this doll in my bedroom in the new house. It must have belonged to a girl who lived here before. The lines on its face must have so many stories to tell. Each one speaks of a different day when fun was had. Surely it has seen a lot of things and experienced a lot of adventures. That poor girl must be missing her doll. They are meant to be together. Judging from the expression in its glassy eyes, the doll misses her too. There is no greater measure of a relationship than the grief it leaves behind.
