The climb was arduous and tested his physical limits, but Kyle pushed through and emerged with scraped knees and palms to the top. He approached the overlook rock he had seen from below and held his breath for the view. He was greeted by a vast, unrelenting sea of fog. Nothing to see below but endless white mist. He laughed and threw his arms up, shouting into the open expanse. As if powered by his scream the wind picked up and the mists parted, revealing the breathtaking view he had sought so deliberately. And zombies. Lots and lots of zombies.
