Theopold sat on the bench and stared down at the keys with reverence. “You know, each of these keys was once something much larger. A majestic elephant was slaughtered, brought down the to the earth, it’s life ended, just so I would have these to place my fingers on and play.” He began to play Saint Saëns’ “The Elephant” to further hammer in the point. “What if they still had that energy in them, and could rise up, break from this board, and storm the audience, trampling all?” “Sir, those are plastic keys,” said Sally. “Now, about the lighting…”
