Ash's recent parkour adventures have brought her to new and unique neighborhoods she never knew she liked. There was one immersed in the scent of cinnamon, cumin, turmeric, cardamom, and cloves. She tasted the best chana masala there. Then there was the hip-hop, funky one where she met new friends. They would skate over the railings; in the background were bright-colored graffiti of one-eyed aliens, slobs, and monsters piling on top of each other with quirky expressions. The neighborhood Ash frequented most was the one squished between those two. Small, dark, unassuming. She would see her ex-boyfriend dumping the trash.
