“This? This is why you slammed the breaks and made me spill my coffee?” Kevin is wiping at the wet stain on his pants leg as he scowls. “I couldn’t just let this little guy get run over, could I?” Louisa nudges at the back of the turtle’s shell, urging it off the road. “You’re always doing idiotic things like this!” shouts Kevin. “Who cares about a damn turtle?” Louisa looks at the turtle. It returns the look. Moments later the turtle is safely secured in the seat as Louisa speeds away from Kevin as he runs after the car.
