"It's not real!" shouted my mom, when I proudly showed her my Play-Doh Pegasus in kindergarten. "It's ridiculous! You better focus on the real world and stop all this daydreaming nonsense!" She yelled, throwing it to the ground as little me bawled her eyes out. - "Mi scusi, signora." A stranger shoveled past me in the busy Milan square, pulling me back to reality. Before me was a ten-feet tall bronze sculpture of a majestic rearing horse with spreading wings. The ornate 19th-century arcade of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II only brought more sacredness to the creature. "Too bad it's not real."
