It’s hot. It’s always so hot in the costume. Stifling. But, you have a job to do, a crowd to rile, and so you get to it. The roar of the crowd fills him with such joy that he feels like his heart may burst every time. They’re all screaming for him, for the amazing backflip he just did despite the enormous head. Thousands of fans, watching him and cheering. But afterwards, when it’s just him staring into a sweaty mirror, it all slips away. He will leave here and go unrecognized. No cheers. No gasps. No fanfare. Just Eddie.
