Hide's 100-word story for April 25, 2025

Hide wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on April 25, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

snow drifts, ski lifts, guitar riffs, dank spliffs, I think to myself idly. the cold permeated my poetic bones as I congratulated myself on my wordsmithery. I try not to think about my leg bones. The white snowsuit was a bad idea, I think. i look so cute though. too bad no one can see me from up there. I keep hearing the crunching sound my skis made against my shins when i fell. i think the hypothermia is setting in. (I’m high and have never gone skiiing but if i did this would be something I’d be scared of.)
