People who live in stained glass houses shouldn’t summon eldritch horrors from beyond. Everyone has heard this phrase (well, they have where I’m from, anyway), but few have really considered the ramifications. We just want to inscribe the ancient glyphs and chant the words of summoning until the madness consumes all. And who can blame us, really? This mundane plane of existence cannot satisfy our desire to answer the calling of the outer worlds. In our dreams we are those ancient evils, those gods, and we long for our home in the stars. Still shouldn’t do it, though. It’s messy.
