Thoughts stacked like bricks in a poorly-made wall I never know which one will tumble come crashing down erupt in a spray of shards and dust fill my skull with vociferous demands until I cave sweep up as best as I can clear the air glancing tentatively over my shoulder for the next one that will fall 'build the wall better' they say as if I had any control over the structure as if I had any say on the placement the faulty mortar all I can do is stand in its shadow waiting for the next brick to drop
