joeislove's 100-word story for July 30, 2025

We met at a stock photo shoot. “Pretend you’re showing him how a phone works,” the photographer would yell, and we’d do it. It was honestly not the worst gig my agent had ever sent me, and I was still in that phase where I would take just about any paying gig (except porn). I remember thinking he was funny and kind of nice as we chatted at the snack table while they moved the lights around. He had kind eyes. I liked his goofy laugh. Then the shoot ended and we left. I never even asked him his name.
