It was foggy the night I decided to get out of the house, away from my parents’ drunken screaming, and walk to Cheshire Bridge. The air was damp and cold against my flushed cheeks, but I kind of liked it. I reached the end and turned, before I saw it. Or her. I’m still not sure. A slim figure, hair whipping through the wind completely covering its face. As I squinted, trying to make it out, it dropped to all fours and sprinted towards me in the most unhuman way. I ran. Im still running. I’m scared she’ll find me.
