"Would you like a smoke?" The guy dressed in a black satin suit offered me a cigar. It was my first time at the 1989 Bar, downtown San Diego, but it was a great Saturday night after a good work week, so I let myself loose. I took a hit, and the world turned black and white, like the color of his suit and tie. I heard a banging noise outside and immediately ran out to check. Up on the telephone pole, a bike was rolling up and down. The zoo animals rampaged. I screamed. "Sir?" "I'll take another one."
