I parked just outside the wooden picket fence and turning off the engine, sat for a moment and just breathed. This was it. The place I dreamt about. It was exactly the same. A shiver skidded down my spine. I could not even begin to understand how I knew this place, this peninsula, this house. It looked abandoned, the windows small and compact., a belfry and a single chimney. It stood on the top of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Far below I could hear the seagulls calling and squabbling like infants. I pushed open the door and stepped out.
