The carnival has came to town today. This is an omen, but not a bad one. Carnies, often maligned as criminals, are even stranger than they seem. When carnivals set up, the ground becomes a hallowed fortress for an ancient league of demon-hunters. If their appearance disturbs you, it is only that they bear scars born of centuries of battling evil. Your fear is a faint echo of the screams of terror from the evil that lives inside every human heart, for they know that they are soon to be exorcised. Usually the ferris wheel; that really gets 'em screaming.
