August finds me like the sunflower's seeds falling to the ground: scattered all over the place. Maybe I'll close my laptop and take a walk. Or I'll run. The open field stretches endlessly, where my eyes meet a cow's and it anchors me. His slow chew annoys me. His gaze confuses me. His stance challenges me. I need the answer. I need the input. I need the results! Why isn't this cow giving me RESULTS?! Of my 30 years of experience, this is the first time I've had an employee like this. Aloof. Careless. Unresponsive. I. Just. Want. The. Results.
