And so we’ve come full circle. One time on Christmas I chanced upon a dude with wild bicycle-shaped glasses. And now, the wild bicycle found me again, just in a different form. This one was parked on one of the canal bridges in Amsterdam, with clocks adorned all over: the wheels were pinned with a cascade of paper clock stickers, all ivory with small black Latin numbers. In the center of the front wheel, a big, black, real clock was attached. The back wheel had a different white clock on it, and a yellow sign with red letters said “Flowerbikeman.”
