Jægersborggade—the street I’ve crossed everyday on my commute to work but never stopped by. Today, there is no work, so I park my car and order a long black to-go. I always bring my favorite white coffee mug in my car. Stirring the white, hot steam from my cup, I lean on the side of my car, whiffing my plaid brown-and-beige winter coat with the addictive aroma of my favorite drink. The crisp air smell of baked bread and a slow morning. The sun’s still covered in his cloudy blanket, maybe he’s sleeping in. I could sleep in.
