Another misty morning. There’s something both magical and horrific when the scenery around you is slowly created as you enter it, while behind you it is erased just as gradually, leaving you the physical manifestation of the Present. The man ahead of me, I wonder if he’s equally as mystified as I am, wondering what to make of his nebulous surroundings. Does he wonder the same as me, that if one of us stopped and allowed the other to keep moving, would the other fade from existence, erased by a cloud of meteorological indifference? Which of us is truly Present?
