Blink stopped on the neatly trimmed path. “Hey, watch this.” He blinks three times at the building in front of us. It crumples, denting inwards like aluminum foil. I hear high-pitched screams coming from inside. “Why did you do that??” He shrugs. “To impress you? Because I thought the building was ugly? Because my ex works there as a paralegal and she cheated on me two weeks ago? I dunno, pick something. I’m romantic like that.” People flood out the doors, some of them bleeding. “I like… you not doing that.” I decide not to date people with superpowers anymore.
