Nothing had been right for a while now. Everything seemed to change the day he died. Emma looked out the window toward the lake and wondered why he chose to do it. It was months ago now. They were all sitting around the table reminiscing about their childhood. It was mostly laughter, but they had their share of tears, too. Just like anyone else...their family had some good and bad times. They went to bed after that and she brought everything was fine. It was around dawn that she heard the door open and then he was just gone.
