Jackal's 100-word story for August 21, 2025

Jackal wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on August 21, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

The fires within have burned since the dawn of time. Without this force guiding us we would have never found The Sword of never-ending Fire. This sword will help us to fight back against the Ice Dragons that have terrorized this land for far too long. It is our time! Let us not allow those frigid creatures to continue freezing our crops! Let us not allow them to eat our children! And most of all, let us not allow those bad tasting popsicle-looking ass monsters to steal one more bonfire party from us!! Victory is ours my friends! Let’s go!
