When angling for toddlers, using the correct bait is important. A combination of a teddy bear dangling from the acoustic tube playing the latest audio from Miss Rachel had been working pretty well for us to lure the ferals out. Then of course, the problem is how to successfully snare, tag, and release them without harm. Some of them are biters, and you can't just grab them without protective gear. Pete Johnson lost his right pinky finger up to the second knuckle last year. It's important work, and I'm proud to do it. But I need all of my fingers.
