Oddly comforting. That's the feeling I get looking at the little plastic hand. It doesn't make sense, I guess. But it makes me feel less alone somehow. A little wave, or maybe a friend going up for a high five. That kind of vibe? I guess maybe I've been feeling more alone lately. I haven't seen another human for about three years, so it's only natural that I feel this way. The experiment ends next month, and I'll be able to leave the dome. I wonder if my friends will remember me. Maybe I should take the hand with me.
