JKWriter's 100-word story for September 10, 2025

Peggy Wadsworth lived above her little shop in a little town in the middle of nowhere. Every day was basically the same. She'd wake up 6am sharp. She'd then make breakfast: toast, egg, tea. After that a shower was in order and then time to head down the stairs to get her work day started. It was a lovely life she had. There were no regrets, but she found herself lonely from time to time. Wistfully she looked out the shop window vacantly, before unlocking the door. Shaking it off, she straightened her blouse and went about her usual day.
