JKWriter's 100-word story for September 12, 2025

JKWriter wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on September 12, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

"I'd like to welcome you all out to the First Annual Unknown Comic Fan Club get together" the unknown president called out to crowd of paper bagged faces. There was the sounds of crinkling brown paper echoing throughout canyon coupled with the murmurs of the dozen other unknowns holding fast to their bags. It was small group and while while the concept of a fan club sounded fun, perhaps choosing a windy canyon hasn't been the best choice. There was always next year, unless the wind exposed the faces beneath. How could they remain unknown, otherwise? Time would only tell.
