He didn't mean to become a god. He was just doing his thing. Being a bear. Snuffling around, looking for roots and berries, sometimes fishing around for a salmon when they were in season. Living the good life. When the forest fire started and swept down the mountains toward the town, he was just hauling ass for safety. The fact that he hauled ass through each and every house in the village, waking everyone from a deep slumber... well, that was just a happy accident. But... "He saved us!" Now they worship him, And he'll never complain about free salmon.
