“But, it’s not even Halloween yet. Hell, it’s not even October.” “What’s your point?” Helen stood defiant. She always got that look on her face when her ideas were challenged. “It’s just…shouldn’t he at least be, I don’t know, Halloweeny?” asked Linda. “I understand it’s your art and all, but—“ “You’re saying art has to be seasonal? That I can’t celebrate the comfort and warmth of Christmas because it’s September? Surely, my ability to express my feelings shouldn’t be limited by a calendar.” Linda sighed. “No, I guess not.” Helen smiled. “Good, now help me with the colored eggs.”
