Some call it a marvel of structural engineering. I say it's an affront to good sense. I mean let's be honest. This was the fever dream brain child of some architect probably coming off a Quaalude high. There was no reason to build this tower like this. Sure, the cables are holding up the roof of the stadium, but there are plenty of better ways to do that. One that don't involve building a great honking tower leaned over at a forty-five degree angle with a bunch of cables running down. But, you know, it was the 1970s. 'Nuff said.
