Brad knew she was nervous, that’s why he gave her the pills. “Just take these before the plane takes off. I’ll tell the crew to wake you up after landing.” He was always looking out for her, Brad. Her first thought after waking up was that Brad would be worried. Then she set that aside, because it was cold. Snow. There shouldn’t be snow. She could smell burning fuel, but she couldn’t see any other wreckage. It must have been the after-effects of the pills that made her look around for the light that said she could remove her seatbelt.
