Cheater's 100-word story for May 4, 2025

Dust clings to the battered hull of the old speeder, once-vivid blue paint dulled and chipped by years of desert wind and neglect. Nestled in a cluttered mechanic’s workshop, surrounded by coils of wiring and forgotten tools, the vehicle seems to wait—like an old warrior longing for one last race across the dunes. The cockpit, though clouded with age, still hints at stories of narrow escapes and reckless chases. Humming faintly, as if remembering speed, the speeder feels alive. In this quiet moment, it’s not just a machine—it’s a relic of rebellion, hope, and galaxies far, far away.
