PaigePrier's 100-word story for October 8, 2025

PaigePrier wrote the following micro-story on Hectalex on October 8, 2025. Each story on Hectalex is inspired by a daily visual prompt and must be exactly 100 words.

She wondered what this particular band did. After the incident with the fire ring, and the earth necklace. She had a some educated guesses. She wondered (and dreaded to think) that elements might include some more dangerous things) she took in the hot day. The only way to truely know was to try, and a breeze or a nice body of water would be somewhat refreshing, anyway. After some concentration, she made a large pool, drops rippled and distorted her reflected hand as she gazed at the small lake. It did look like a perfect place to cool her feet.
