It's not just that they spit. People don't know this, but camels have psychokinetic abilities and can cause you to choke to death by using their mental powers to remove the oxygen from the air around you. I have seen a camel become annoyed with a tourist and without a thought, crush that person's skull. It just imploded. Now, when a skull caves in from all directions, you have to realize that it's full of stuff, mostly brains. That stuff all squirted out in a split second, mostly from the mouth. Truly horrifying. The spitting is pretty gross too, though.
