They said I was mad to try it, a car without wheels? Preposterous! But I had dreamt, and I had seen, and I knew I could. And I knew people would come to marvel at it, and the cotton bugs would wave. After all, hadn't the great prophet said " Build it, and they will come"? The flux capacitor took some working out, but I promised myself every day, if I left, that I'd be back. "Any change overnight? The nurse coming on shift asked her departing colleague? "No, nothing new. How long has it been now, 40 years? Never stirring!"
